Grooving Machines

Grooving (or V-grooving) creates a precise V-shaped channel on the back of a sheet metal panel, allowing it to be bent to a sharp, tight radius without cracking. This produces clean bends with minimal radius — essential for decorative panels, lift doors, kitchen equipment and architectural cladding.

Stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel sheet from 1mm to 8mm thick. The machine uses a carbide-tipped cutter to remove a controlled V-notch, leaving enough material for the bend.
