Proportional fertigation powered by the irrigation water

The water flow drives the hydraulic motor while the unit draws a measured amount of concentrate from a separate tank. Within the selected model’s operating range, the injected quantity remains proportional to the water passing through the pump—without an electrical supply at the dosing point.

Frequently asked questions

Does a MIXTRON irrigation dosing pump need electricity?
No. Water flow drives its hydraulic motor. The selected pump must still operate within its specified flow and pressure range.
Which MIXTRON model is right for my irrigation system?
Send Gleam your minimum and maximum water flow, target dosing percentage, available pressure and the fertiliser or nutrient to inject. We will confirm the range and seal material.
What do P003, P022, P054 and P110 mean?
They identify dosing ranges: 0.03–0.3%, 0.2–2%, 0.5–4% and 1–10% respectively. Choose a range that comfortably contains the target dose.
Does proportional dosing continue if irrigation flow changes?
Within the selected model’s operating range, the amount injected remains proportional to the volume of water passing through the pump. Correct sizing is therefore essential.
Which MIXTRON model appears in the video?
The video is a real nursery application demonstration. Because the model label is not fully readable, Gleam will select the exact unit from your flow, dose, pressure and liquid data rather than assuming a model.
