Raytools Cutting Head Maintenance: Spare Parts and Care Guide
Practical guide for Raytools laser cutting head maintenance. Key consumables, replacement intervals, and how to extend the life of your equipment.
Why is cutting head maintenance crucial?
The cutting head is the most critical component of your laser cutting machine. Poor maintenance can cause loss of cut quality, costly optics damage, and even prolonged production downtime. Raytools heads (BT210, BT240, BM109, BM111 series) are the most widely used in fiber laser cutting machines, and proper maintenance can triple the lifespan of optical components.
Main consumables

The protective lens is the first line of defense for your optics. It protects the focusing lens from molten metal splashes and particles. It should be inspected daily and replaced at any sign of marks or contamination.
